Fernando Forestieri scored one of the all-time great football tip on this day in 2019 as Sheffield Wednesday played out a 2-2 draw with Norwich.
Marco Stiepermann had put the home side ahead before Forestieri and fellow Owls striker Steven Fletcher gave Steve Bruce's side a second-half lead.
However, Marco Vrancic's 97th minute free-kick would steal a point for the Canaries, who would go on lớn win the Sky Bet Championship title.
The highlight of the game was undoubtedly Forestieri's strikethrough. He twisted and turned to beat the defence before unleashing an effort from distance that flew into the top corner. Tim Krul, the Norwich goalkeeper, could do nothing lớn stop it.
"For the first time in a while, he looks fit," Bruce said of Forestieri after the match.
"He has had a few injury problems but, unfortunately, it is towards the end of the season that we are seeing the real Forestieri.
"We have practically nothing to play for, but we rolled up our sleeves and, for me, we deserved lớn be in the soccer tips group."
It led lớn Forestieri picking up the Sky Bet Championship Goal of the Month award for April, beating competition from Bristol City's Josh Dasilva and Wigan's Reece James.
"It’s one of the purest strikes of a football you're likely lớn have seen all season," Sky Sports pundit Don Goodman said.
"And Wednesday fans will be hoping that we’ll be seeing plenty more of that from him next year."
